Matthew R. Begley has been promoted to chief operating officer of First Capital Financial Services, Asia, Limited, First Capital's Hong Kong subsidiary. In his new position, he will be transferring to the Financial Services Division and will be in charge of coordinating communication with funding partners and sources relating to Asian operations and domestic asset-based loan transactions that are funded by the Financial Services Division.

Mr. Begley was previously senior vice president, Western Region Asset-Based Lending Manager at First Capital. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior vice president and manager of the Los Angeles office of Capital Business Credit, Inc., a division of Capital Factors, Inc., overseeing all aspects of a middle market asset-based lending portfolio. He has experience in asset-based lending, factoring, equipment finance and several types of warrant-backed debt products.
