KEITH SMITH JOINS FIRST CAPITAL AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND LEGAL COUNSEL

ATLANTA, Ga. and WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., February 19, 2008 – First Capital, a leading financial services firm, announced today that Keith Smith has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Legal Counsel.

Keith Smith is responsible for structuring, negotiating and documenting financial transactions the company enters into with its clients. Prior to joining First Capital, Mr. Smith was Senior Attorney at UPS Capital for four years where he practiced in the areas of asset based lending, supply chain finance, trade finance and equipment leasing. Prior to that, Mr. Smith was at Solarcom Holdings from 1998 to 2003 where he practiced in the areas of equipment leasing and equipment sales and served as General Counsel.  From 1989 to 1998, Mr. Smith was in the Legal Department of Wachovia Bank where he practiced in the areas of asset based lending, real estate lending and treasury services. Mr. Smith received his B.A. from Southern Wesleyan University and his J.D. from Emory University.
